A mentor is an individual with expertise in a particular subject area who facilitates the development of a specific skill/attitude in a peer (mentee) in support of their personal or professional growth.

A mentee is an individual who is looking to grow their personal or professional skills by
engaging in meaningful discussions with a mentor.

Get Involved!
We welcome mentors with diverse skill sets, perspectives, and backgrounds to help us in our mission to grow the Muslimah community. As a mentor, you will be matched with mentees in mentorship areas of your choice for 1-hour video calls (with possible follow-ups). Depending on the mentorship areas you select, each video call may involve 1-2 hours of preparation. You will be able to specify your availability and how many mentees you are able to take on each month. Your Journey Begins Here!
As a mentee, you can apply for a session in a specific mentorship area, you will be matched with an appropriate mentor for a 1-hour video call (and possible follow-up/s). You can apply for multiple sessions in different mentorship areas.
Note, before applying and before your session can take place, you must meet the pre-session requirements for your selected
mentorship area.

Please note, you should apply at least 3 weeks before any deadline to give the mentor enough time to arrange their schedule. Further, matching you with a mentor is based on mentor availability and may not be guaranteed.
