Lagos, Nigeria – With heavy hearts, Bountiis Charity Initiative mourns the passing of Nahimah Nurudeen Ajikanle, our esteemed Head of Media and Campaign. Nahimah was a prominent advocate for women’s empowerment, having been an ex-journalist for Daily Trust and the CEO of TenticP Communication Nig. Ltd. She also founded African Platform (APNews) and served as its Executive Director.
Despite our internal reservations about exposure, Nahimah’s commitment to amplifying Bountiis’ cause was instrumental in expanding our reach. Her contributions helped bring Bountiis to mainstream media, leading to new partnerships, volunteers, and a widespread impact on Muslim women across the globe.
Her dedication to this cause was a reflection of her personal values and commitment to supporting marginalized Muslim women. Nahimah will be remembered for her passion, insight, and relentless advocacy for uplifting others. She passed away, leaving behind her parents, children, spouse, and siblings. We pray that Almighty Allah grants them the fortitude to bear this immense loss. Her efforts are now a Sadaqatul Jariyah, a form of everlasting charity that continues to benefit her even after her passing.

Nahimah’s loss is profoundly felt by the Bountiis team and the broader community she touched. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues. Her vision, spirit, and legacy will live on in the work we continue in her honor.
